James Frey

James Frey is an American author, best known for his work, A Million Little Pieces (2003). He has also written My Friend Leonard (2005) and Bright Shiny Morning (2008). Frey also co-authored I An Number Four (2010) with Jobie Hughes.

In 2006, Frey became the subject of media attention for fabricated large and important parts of the book, A Million Little Pieces, which was categorised and sold as a memoir. During this period of time, he was a guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show. The visit resulted in Winfrey publicly and harshly accusing Frey of lying.

Frey returned to the Oprah Winfrey Show for a second interview; this will be aired on May 16, 2011.
