Jenny Dolores Rivera Saavedra (July 2, 1969 to December 9, 2012)was a Mexican-American singer known to fans as 'La Diva de la Banda' for her work in the 'banda' and 'nortena' genres. She began recording in 1992 and has released 10 albums ever since, as well as produced and starred in a television reality show in 2010 called Jenni Rivera Presents: Chiquis & Raq-C.

She died in December 2012 in a small plane crash in Northern Mexico.
