Jimi Hendrix was a pioneering rock and roll guitar player. Playing left handed, he played a regular guitar strung upside down, he took the electric guitar places nobody had ever dreamed of attempting before him. There have been who have tried to imitate him since his death in 1971, but few have ever come close to being as inventive and exciting as Hendrix.
