John Kenneth Galbraith

John Kenneth Galbraith (15 October 1908 - 29 April 2006) was a Canadian-American economist, who was also a Keynesian, an institutionalist and a leading proponent of 20th century American liberalism. In his lifetime he was one of the best-known economists in the world and one of the few recipients of the Medal of Freedom, which he was awarded in 1946.
