Michael Rubens Bloomberg (born February 14 1942)is the current Mayor of New York city, as well as being the 10th richest person in the United States. He made his fortune with the financial data-services firm Bloomberg L.P. of which he is founder and 88% stakeholder. He is currently in his third-term as Mayor after amending the laws regarding the New York City term-limit. He has been registered as both a Democrat and Republican over his career, but is currently an Independent.
