Momotxorro
The Momotxorro is a character of unknown origins in Alsasua's carnival (Navarre, Spain), half man half bull. This character is related with violence, robbery and even ripe. The Momotxorros run along the streets of the village frightening and "attacking" people. The Momotxorro costume consists in a white shirt full of blood, blue trousers and high white socks, but the most important feature is that they are covered with wool and wear horns. Their faces are always covered, and they carry a big fork to "attack". You can know where are them because of the noise: they also wear big cowbells sewn to their costumes. At the end of the celebration, all the Momotxorros together perform the Dance of the Momotxorros (Dance of the Momotxorros).
