Categorization system for planets habitable with various levels of terraforming. "Optimal" is the standard for terratype planets with little or no terraforming required for habitation. Optimal-1 through Optimal-4 designations indicate terraforming requirements for colonization. A planet requiring more than Optimal-4 levels is regarded as "sub-Optimal" and will not be released for colonial Charter by the University League of the Hub.
