Overjustification effect
The psychological phenomenon that translates into a person's intrinsic desire to perform a small action once you expect to receive an extrinsic reward. Desire for the person to take the action becomes inexorably linked to compensation, which are not able to fully appreciate the fulfillment that comes exclusively to perform the task. It has important ramifications among educators who need to understand which offers rewards for learning positive behavior is probably bad for the son of general interest in the field of education, and they should be taught the joy of learning for the sake of learning.
