A project whose overall aim is to develop process understanding and tested numerical models for regions of freshwater influence (i.e. ROFIs). This EC MAST project studies the role of the physical processes controlling water property distributions and the role of suspended sediments in controlling the availability of light, nutrients, and phytoplankton growth.
