Sacha Noam Baron Cohen (b. 13 October 1971)is an award-winning English stand-up comedian, actor and writer. He is best known for creating and playing four fictional characters: Ali G, Borat, Bruno and Admiral General Aladeen who was the protagonist in his film The Dictator.

Baron Cohen grew up in West London and read History at the University of Cambridge where he was a member of the Amateur Dramatic Club.
