Scarborough Shoal (also known as Scarborough Reef, Huangyan Island and Panatag Shoal) is a group of very small islands, rocks and reefs in the South China Sea, located between the Macclesfield Bank - a group of underwater reefs and shoals- and Luzon Island of the Philippines.
