Suzanne Collins

Suzanne Collins is an American writer. She began her career as a writer for children television shows, which includes Clarissa Explains It All, Little Bear, and The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo. Later on, Collins began to work on children's books after meeting fellow children's book author James Proimos. She wrote the best-selling series The Underland Chronicles from 2003 to 2007, consisting of five books total. In 2008 she release the first of The Hunger Games trilogy. The next two, Catching Fire and Mockingjay, were released in September 2009 and October 2010 respectively.
