Real name Anthony Dominick Benedetto, Tony Bennett is an active American jazz and show tune singer and World War II veteran. His fame peaked in the late 50s and early 60s with songs such as "I left My Heart in San Francisco". His career was dormant for several decades until he made a comeback in the early 90s during his twilight years.

In late September 2011 he became the oldest performer to achieve a US number one album at the age of 85, with his title Duets II. The album also features artists such as Lady Gaga and the late Amy Winehouse.
