adjusted gross score
The Adjusted Gross are used to recalculate a player's handicap. The Adjusted Gross Score is your gross score, which is then adjusted for Equitable Stroke Control, (ESC). ESC puts restrictions on individual hole scores for exceptionally high scores, which is based on your playing handicap.
