Antitheist

Atheism is defined as taking the position that there is no logical reason to believe in a deity, higher power or religion. The term atheist, popularly misconstrued, suggests nothing more than disbelief in any higher power, as a label it doesn't suggest anything about an atheists opinion of religious practise or religious institutions. Antitheism is a more provocative title. An antitheist doesn't believe there is a god, and is very happy that there is no god. An antitheist has considered the philosophical and metaphysical implications of a creator, deity, or celestial ruler, and states not only that such an entity does not exist, but also that the lack of any such authority is definitely a positive thing.
