Aquepts
Inceptisols that are saturated with water for periods long enough to limit their use for most crops other than pasture or woodland unless they are artificially drained. Aquepts have either a histic or umbric epipedon and grey colours within 50 cm of the surface, or an ochric epipedon underlain by a cambic horizon with grey colors, or have sodium saturation of 15% or more.
