Backdoor pass

A basketball play involving two players. Best used when the defence is overplaying on the offensive player who wishes to receive the pass from a teammate. The receiving player will often make a half-speed run out to the perimeter then quickly streak towards the basket the same way he came, receiving the pass on the way to the basket.
