The Bean Weevil is an exotic pest species that is established in Australia. It is an oval grey brown beetle, covered with short hairs. The wing cases are short and do not quite reach the tip of the abdomen. The head is small and bent forward, without the long snout of true weevils. The antennae are grey and reddish brown. The rear legs have three spines. The grub is white and hairy.
