Big headed stick insect

The Big-headed Stick Insect (Megacrania alpheus) is very similar to The Peppermint Stick Insect (Megacrania batesii) and is considered by some authorities to be the same species. It is a stocky phasmid with relatively large head and short cerci. They use only their front two pairs of legs for moving around. Both males and females have small wings and do not fly.
