A schedule in which responding under one stimulus on a given schedule is reinforced by the production of a second stimulus in the presence of which a response is reinforced on a second schedule with food, water, etc. Resembles a multiple schedule except that the reinforcement of the first component is simply the production of the stimulus of the second component.
