Collision detection

A hardware- and software-based system that stops the machine on detecting entry into a predefined collision zone, prior to actual collision. Once in a collision state, the Clinac can be moved farther into the collision zone only by the user inside the treatment room overriding the collision interlock. Collision override buttons are mounted on the couch and collimator.
