Exposure indicator
The English translation for "exposure indicator" has been "electronic analogue exposure display" since the days of film cameras. With the Q0770 manual, we propose to change this to "exposure indicator" for the following reasons:
1. The expression "electronic analog" is verbose.
2. The term "display" is used in reference to entire displays (e.g., "information display") in current Nikon nomenclature. The individual elements in such displays are referred to as "indicators. "
3. Because it is long and hard to use, the term "electronic analogue exposure display" has already been changed to "exposure indicator" in existing help text. There is every chance that it will be accidentally translated as "exposure indicator" in other contexts.
