Gaate
Gåte was a Norwegian band, who played a mix of metal, rock and Norwegian folk music, a style often referred to as progressive folk-rock. They released their first EP in 2000, which became very popular, but after their first album in 2002 they got a major breakthrough in both Scandinavia and Germany. In 2004 they announced that they were taking a break. The break lasted until 2009 when they got together for a mini-tour of Norway before breaking up for good.
