Hodgkin disease

A type of lymphoma (cancer of the lymphatic system). Hodgkin lymphoma is characterised by progressive enlargement of the lymph nodes, spleen, and general lymphoid tissue and by the presence of large, usually multinucleate cells of unknown origin called Reed-Sternberg cells. In people with HIV, Hodgkin lymphoma is an AIDS-related cancer.
