Traditional, creamery, semi-soft cheese made from cow's milk. It has a drum shape with natural rind. It can be used as breakfast cheese, for sandwiches or for grilling. The history of this cheese goes back to the 7th century. The name simply means "household cheese". The pale, straw-colored interior has a smooth, open texture and small irregular holes.
