Interresponse time
1) The time between two responses or, more strictly, from the beginning of one response to the beginning of the next. The time from a reinforcer to the next response is a latency and not an IRT, even if the reinforcer is response-produced.
2) A dimensional quantity referring to the time between two successive responses. See Latency.
