A verbal response caused by a verbal stimulus, where the relationship between the stimulus and the response is one arbitrary set by the verbal community. Intraverbal behavior is concatenation as in verbal behavior; an example is to recite the alphabet. The speaker or someone can provide verbal encouragement (therefore, intraverbals not requiring the conduct itself discrimination; they are not autoclitic).
