Kings of convenience is an indie-pop duo from Bergen, Norway. There are two band members, Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe. They are known for their calming voice, delicate tunes and intricate and subtle guitar melodies. They both write and compose the songs. Since 1999 (when they started the band) they have released 3 CDs. The second single from the second album topped the MTV list over best European music video.
