Sealcoating

Process of applying a protective coating to asphalt pavement. Primarily used on driveways, and parking areas, this coating protects asphalt from the damaging effects of petroleum products. It also fills surface cracks to prevent water from entering and damaging the base material. Sealcoating protects and extends the life of asphalt and its deep black smooth appearance is visually appealing as well. It also means that the driveway does not need to undergo reconstruction as often.
