Slice

A shot made with the blade of the club open at impact, causing the ball to take a pronounced curved trajectory to the right (for a right-handed golfer). Slicing the ball is sometimes caused by the golfer peeking (taking eyes off ball)just before impact, or an improper grip of the club. An inside-outside swing could also cause a golfer to slice the ball.
