Vermouth
Fortified wine flavoured with herbs, flowers, spices and seeds. The two styles of vermouth are sweet and dry. All vermouth is made from white wine, but sweet vermouth is a reddish colour with a slightly sweet taste due to the addition of caramel. Dry vermouth is one of the two ingredients in a Martini.
