Easter Sunday

The festival when the resurrection of Jesus is remembered and celebrated. Christians believe that Jesus was resurrected from the dead on the third day after his crucifixion.

Easter Sunday is not fixed in relation to the civil calendar (i.e. it is a moveable feast), and falls at some point between 21st March and 25th April (or from early April to early May in Eastern Christianity).
