Elizabeth Gilbert
Elizabeth Gilbert is an American writer of short stories, novels, memoirs, essays and biographies. Her most famous work is the memoir Eat, Pray, Love which was published in 2006. Her short storey collection, Pilgrim (1997) won the Pushcart Prize and was a finalist for the PEN/Hemingway Award. In 2000, she published the novel, Stern Men; in 2002, the biography, The Last American Man was published, a finalist for the National Book Award. Her second memoir, considered the sequel to Eat, Pray, Love was published in 2010, titled, Committed.
