Henry Reeve
(1813-1895) Editor, etc., son of a physician, was on the staff of the Times, the foreign policy of which he influenced for many years. He was editor of the Edinburgh Review 1855-95, and of the Greville Memoirs 1865. He held a leading place in society, and had an unusually wide acquaintance with men of letters all over the continent.
