Huni is considered to be the last king of the third Dynasty. His name appears in the Turin King List, which states that his reign lasted 24 years. Huni built many small pyramids scattered throughout Egypt. The main purpose of these pyramids is not yet known, but many archaeologists believe that they are markers for royal estates or boundaries.
