Nanking
Nanking is a 2007 film about the 1937 Massacre told from the perspective of several foreigners living and working in Nanjing at the time of the Japanese invasion of China. The film also includes documentary interviews with surviving victims and perpetrators of the massacre. The foreigners assisting the Chinese during the massacre are portrayed by actors and actresses in interview sessions where they read from letters and journal entries written during Nanjing's occupation. During the Japanese occupation over 200,000 people were killed and tens of thousands of Chinese people were raped by the Japanese Army.
