Sir Henry Wellcome
Sir Henry Wellcome (21 August 1853 - 25 July 1936) was an American-British pharmaceutical entrepreneur. He was the founder of Burroughs Wellcome & Company, which would later go on to be one of the four large companies that merged to form GlaxoSmithKline. In his will, he left a large amount of capital to be spent on charitable work, which was used to form the Wellcome Trust.
