Horn shark
The horn shark is a species of shark, which live in the coastal waters of the western coast of North America. They are not big; they length about 1 m. They are nocturne lonely predators, and they feed of hard-shelled mollusks, crustaceans and small bony fishes. Their hunting technique consists in adopt a vertical position above the prey and with a huge impulse they launch against it extending its buccal cavity and absorb it. For that, they use its smell and the electroreception. Horn sharks are oviparous; they reproduce through eggs, and its teeth are replaced each 4 weeks.
