Pin

A pin or (PIN) is ostensibly a personal identification number, although for our usage a string is also valid. The pin is composed of a name and value pair that is captured from a referring URL and then stored and/or displayed on a B2B or B2C site that we host.

1. We do not validate the values of the pin.

2. We do not authenticate based on the value of a pin.

3. The significance of the pin rests entirely with an outside entity. That entity would be most likely an agency.
