TheSkyNet

"theSkyNet" is a project being coordinated by the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR) in Western Australia. Participants in the project instal a small programme onto their computers which uses idle processing power to analyse the large amounts of astronomical data that has been collected by ICRAR.

It is hoped that this project will uncover new information about the locations of previously unknown astronomical bodies, and better help us to understand the layout of the universe.
