Bouncer
Bouncers are a kind of security guards in bars or nightclubs among others who provide security, cheque legal age, and refuse entry depending on different criteria (drunkenness, aggressive behavior, attractiveness, dressing…etc). Bouncers are usually big size men with a look of bad guy as they need to deal with aggressive people and fights.
The word "bouncer" was first popularised in the novel The Young Outlaw by Horatio Alger, which was first published in 187, but they are also called Doormen or Coolers.
