Nazarenes

Nazarenes are the different members of the penitential corporations who accompany the pasos or tronos during the Easter processions wearing the characteristic robe and conic hood. The colour, emblem…etc. of the costume of each corporation is different in order to distinguish their members. The conic form of the hood evokes an approach of the penitent to heaven, which is interpreted by many Christians as a place of salvation.
