Solubility
The amount of substance that will dissolve at a given temperature in a specified water is known as solubility. To be available to plants a nutrient must be at least slightly soluble in the soil solution. Solubility of compounds such as urea, ammonium nitrate, potassium chloride increases rapidly with temperature. The presence of other substances in the solution may either increase or decrease the solubility.
