Nancy Birdsall

Nancy Birdsall (born 6 February 1946) is an American economist and founder of the centre for Global Development, and former vice-president of the Inter-American Development Bank. She focuses on the issue of globalization, inequality, and the reform of international financial institutions. In her five years as vice-president she oversaw a portfolio worth $30 billion in public and private loans.
