Anthony David "Tony" Scott (June 21, 1944-August 19, 2012) was a British film director. He has edited movies such as Top Gun, The Hunger, Enemy of the State and Beverly Hills Cop II. His movies were usually more popular among the audience than among critics. He dies by suicide August 19, 2012 when he jumped off the Vincent Thomas bridge in California, USA.
