Henry Clay Frick

Henry Clay Frick (19 December 1849 - 2 December 1919) was an American industrialist, financier and art patron. He was involved in the steel industry, invested in new railways, owned extensive real estate holdings and built the Frick Mansion in New York City. After his death, his substantial collection of old master paintings and fine furniture was used to create the Frick Collection and art museum, situated in the Frick Mansion.
